Daniel Joinbee is an experienced business leader, Indigenous business founder and communicator in Australia. Daniel’s various experiences have encompassed him with leadership and innovation skills with over fifteen years of professional experience in fast-paced and challenging roles that have seen him bring dynamic solutions to achieve great outcomes in many positions.

Currently serving as the Managing Director of Gunggandji Aerospace, Australia’s only Aboriginal Aerospace Consultancy, and Managing Director of Fortified Management. Daniel has previously demonstrated his prowess as the Australian Indigenous Leadership Centre Director. His experience stretches from public service to international projects, providing him with a robust, diverse perspective on the mechanics of industry and innovation.

His work extends from public service to international projects, backed by an Executive MBA from Melbourne Business School, a BSc from UNSW@ADFA, and several diplomas. A former Air Traffic Controller and Combat Search and Rescue Officer, he's received accolades, including the Australia Day Medallion and Indigenous Space Leader of the Year in 2023. Daniel's unique blend of military discipline and entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with his dedication to the First Nations Australians, underscores his role as a visionary leader in the aerospace industry.
